Magnetism and magnetic phase diagram of sigma-phase Fe68V32 compound

The magnetic phase diagram in the H-T coordinates has been determined for ?-Fe68V32 from ZFC/FC magnetization measurements. re-entrant character of magnetism, going paramagnetic through ferromagnetic to spin-glass (SG) states, evidenced. SG is magnetically heterogeneous, because two sub phases can be identified i.e. with strong (SG-SI) and weak (SG-WI) irreversibility. Tirr Tcros were quantitatively analysed using mean-field theory values related critical exponents ?irr = 1.6 (2) ?cros 0.91 (9) obtained. A qualitative agreement Gabay-Toulouse model was reached. isothermal measurements point a soft behavior studied sample. ? exponent Kouvel-Fisher approach yielding value 1.0 (1) line theory.
